Nestled in the heart of Carinthia, Pension Kaernten was the perfect cozy retreat after four exhilarating days of skiing in the region. With spacious, impeccably clean apartments accommodating 3-4 adults, it served as a delightful base to explore renowned ski resorts like Katschberg and Bad Kleinkirchheim. The friendly owner was always ready to lend a helping hand, making us feel right at home, while the breathtaking mountain views from our chalet-styled room were nothing short of enchanting. Highlights included a hearty breakfast with vegetarian options, a charming self-service bar featuring local wines, and easy access to nearby hiking trails and the magnificent Porcia Castle. If you seek not just a place to stay but an experience that embodies the warm spirit of Austria, Pension Kaernten should be atop your list.
